With guidance from the team, this position participates in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The Developer builds scalable data models, pipelines, automated processes, and reporting solutions while following Stifel’s development standards and best practices. This role partners with Credit Analytics and other stakeholders to understand business needs, improve access to reliable credit data, and deliver tools and insights that support the Bank’s credit risk management activities.\nWhat We're Looking For\nAssist the Development team in various phases of development, including design, implementation, integration, revision control, release and the maintenance of multiple products and systems\nBuild and maintain SQL views, stored procedures, ETL processes, and data pipelines (SQL Server / Snowflake\nAssist in migration to Snowflake\nDesign scalable data models for reporting and analytics using dimensional modeling principles and develop executive dashboards in PowerBI.\nRecognize manual systems and work to automate procedures.\nDocument clearly and effectively within code and participate in documentation outside of code\nEnsuring Stifel's coding and development standards are being followed\nCoordinate with other team members when tackling harder developmental efforts\nWhat You'll Bring\nDevelop solutions to problems as well as manager multiple issues at the same time.\nStrong awareness of the impact of actions on the product or feature and acts in line with it.\nAbility to resolve problems, basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nCollaboration with a team using knowledge of appropriate development environments\nStrong oral and written communication skills\n• Banking knowledge is a plus\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience\nMinimum Required: 0-2 years' of post Bachelor's progressive experience in software development\nLicenses & Credentials\nMinimum Required: None\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook\nExperience in SQL and Python and database systems\nExperience with PowerBI (DAX) queries, Microsoft Power Tools\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
