This position will have the opportunity to work in other service areas and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.\nWhat We're Looking For\nDevelop an understanding of the Stifel business, data models, and development technology.\nField inbound requests from business users and product management and refine requirements until a full understanding is reached on the process being analyzed.\nAbility to use logic and reasoning when assessing business requirements.\nAssist the Development team in various phases of development, including design, implementation, integration and revision control.\nPerform limited due diligence to ensure quality and accuracy.\nWork according to standards and practices set by Project and Development managers or senior team members.\nGain an understanding of company applications and business practices in the context of how they affect the customer and the business process.\nResearch best practices and supports developing the solutions and recommendations for the business areas as identified.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBasic understanding of financial industry terminology and concepts.\nAbility to take a problem and research it from beginning to end creating detailed documentation.\nStrong analytical skills focused on using logic, reasoning, and data to identify complex relationships as well as to research and discuss recommended uses.\nIntroductory development skills and desire to learn.\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Pursuing a degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business. At least one year of college completed preferred.\nPreferred: Experience with office productivity, reporting, and technical documentation software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive applications.\nPreferred: Experience with development technologies such as C#/.NET, or relevant Java/C++, JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks (Angular, jQuery), python.\nPreferred: Experience with relational databases and SQL.\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.\nExposure to C#/.NET, or relevant Java/C++ or equivalent relational database systems.\nExperience with JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks (Angular, jQuery).\nCompensation Range\nSalary: USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $20.00/Hr. Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate’s qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel’s overall compensation package for each individual employee.
