This position will have the opportunity to work in service areas such as our IT Service Desk, Endpoint Computing, IT Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Mobile Teams to develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWork with and assist Stifel IT professionals in their daily duties to help develop an understanding of the Stifel business models through the lens of our various IT support teams.\nApply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects.\nWork according to standards and practices set by IT Service Desk management or senior team members.\nAssist in creating and maintaining IT operational workflows, knowledge documents, and communications to IT and Stifel employees.\nAssist in the preparation of reports.\nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong analytical skills focused on using logic, reasoning, and data to identify complex relationships, including research and discussion of recommended uses.\nAbility to research a problem from beginning to end, creating detailed documentation.\nBasic understanding of financial industry terminology and concepts.\nAbility to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.\nAbility to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or problem approaches.\nEducation & Experience\nPursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business with at least one year of college completed is preferred.\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and general office productivity technology.\nStrong knowledge of both iOS and Android mobile operating systems.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office.\nBasic understanding of MacOS.\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
