As an Operations Advisory Support Associate, you'll help ensure advisory accounts are established, maintained, and serviced accurately so advisors can focus on helping clients achieve their financial goals.\nYou'll gain hands-on experience with advisory operations, collaborate with experienced team members, and build expertise in account processing, problem resolution, and service support. Success in this role comes from attention to detail, a commitment to excellent service, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and teamwork matter.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in the financial services industry while contributing to a team that supports one of the firm's most important business lines.\nWhat We're Looking For\nAccurately perform job duties as provided by leadership while adhering to departmental procedures and guidelines\nProficiently process, create, and enter data into systems to be utilized by our Financial Advisors and branch staff\nIdentify potential problems or issues and escalate to department leadership if necessary\nDevelop effective communication skills within the department\nProvide timely updates on progression of job responsibilities to leadership\nDemonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team\nLearn basic advisory operations concepts to provide timely and accurate responses to phone calls and emails from the branch offices.\nEstablish confidence completing daily reports as needed.\nProvide additional support to the Advisory Services team as volumes dictate.\nWhat You'll Bring\nAbility to attain a basic understanding of industry rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department.\nStrong attention to detail skills to minimize risk to the firm\nInitiative and self-direction when performing tasks with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines\nAble to handle large workloads that vary based on heavy volume periods\nAbility to work autonomously throughout the day based on performance criteria provided by leadership\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent\nPreferred: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience\nMinimum Required: 0-2 years' professional business related experience\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office products #LI-AS1\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
