The Payroll Intern within Stifel’s Corporate Accounting Department will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop practical accounting skills, and contribute to overall financial well-being of the organization.\nWhat We're Looking For\nAssist with reviewing payroll information and reports for accuracy.\nHelp maintain payroll records and support documentation.\nSupport payroll reporting and basic reconciliation activities.\nAssist with gathering and organizing documentation for audits and other department needs.\nHelp research payroll questions and resolve basic discrepancies.\nSupport various payroll projects and daily administrative tasks.\nCollaborate with Payroll team members and other departments as needed.\nWhat You'll Bring\nInterest in learning about payroll, accounting, and business operations.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nBasic analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to handle confidential information professionally.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 1 year of college completed.\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
