This internship will provide exposure to critical operational processes, develop analytical skills, and offer insights into the daily functions that support Stifel’s client services and overall business activity.\nWhat We're Looking For\nLearn basic job functions and responsibilities across various departments. \nCollaborate with internal teams to support various business functions within operations. \nSupport operations teams in monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. \nParticipate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies and enhancing the overall advisor and/or client experience. \nConduct research and analysis on operational processes and industry trends to contribute to process improvements and identify potential risks. \nMaintain accurate documentation for individual account records within operational systems as needed. \nAssist with advisor inquiries under direct supervision. \nBuild relationships across departments to understand the broader connection of workflows. \nOther projects as assigned. \nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong interest in operational business and a desire to gain practical experience in the field. \nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. \nEffective communication and interpersonal skills. \nBasic understanding of the securities and/or financial services industry or ability to learn and operate within regulatory frameworks. \nProactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. \nAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload. \nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.\nPreferred: Completed coursework or experience in operations, accounting, or finance.\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
