The Technology Product Development Analyst Intern will work as a member of Stifel's analysis team. The Intern will engage with development teams & product management to analyze, document, and understand business processes and procedures as well as support discovery or solutions for firm driven initiatives and development.\nWhat We're Looking For\nDevelop an understanding of the Stifel business & data models, and use that knowledge to optimize the relationship between the company and the customer.\nField inbound requests from business users and product management and refine requirements until a full understanding is reached on the process being analyzed.\nPerform limited due diligence to ensure quality and accuracy.\nWork according to standards and practices set by Product Management or senior team members.\nGain an understanding of company applications and business practices in the context of how they affect the customer and the business process.\nResearch best practices and support developing the solutions and recommendations for the business areas as identified.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBasic understanding of financial industry terminology and concepts.\nAbility to take a problem and research it from beginning to end creating detailed documentation.\nStrong analytical skills focused on using logic, reasoning, and data to identify complex relationships as well as to research and discuss recommended uses.\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Pursuing a degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business.\nPreferred: 1+ year of college completed.\nSystems & Technology\nExperience with office productivity, reporting, and technical documentation software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive applications preferred.\nExperience with databases and SQL preferred.\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
