This role develops data-driven narratives that inform and influence leadership, while functioning as a strategic support partner without direct ownership of business decisions. Operating with minimal supervision, the Analyst II manages moderately complex datasets and reporting needs, and may provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. The role contributes to automation and process improvement initiatives and partners closely with business stakeholders to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.\nWhat We're Looking For\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.\nAnalyze datasets to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights and translate data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders.\nDeliver accurate, timely, and business-relevant reporting outputs and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across deliverables.\nExecute automation of reporting processes and workflows.\nIdentify and implement process improvements across reporting and analytics.\nImprove reporting efficiency through scalable tools and standardized practices.\nPartner with business teams to gather and define reporting requirements.\nMaintain and enhance standardized metrics, KPIs, and reporting definitions.\nCommunicate insights and recommendations to support decision-making.\nSupport data governance, validation, and quality control processes.\nConduct and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.\nMaintain documentation to support reporting, governance, and audit readiness.\nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to independently solve problems.\nAbility to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.\nDemonstrated experience developing effective dashboards and data visualizations.\nStrong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality and accuracy.\nEffective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nProven ability to build dashboards and deliver insights independently.\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum Required: 2+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or Treasury operations.\nLicenses & Credentials\nMinimum Required: None.\nSystems & Technology\nMinimum Required: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data modeling), Strong SQL and data querying experience, Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).\nPreferred: Experience with automation or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R), Familiarity with APIs and data integration concepts.\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
