This makes performance, scalability, and reliability critical to everything we build.\nYou’ll work on our metering infrastructure, built to handle 1M events per second, including remote deployments running in our customers’ cloud environments. You’ll also partner closely with our engineering teams to help them move faster, improve the developer experience, and build the tools and infrastructure they need to ship software quickly and reliably.\nWhat will be your primary goals\nLead infrastructure initiatives and continuously improve our SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.\n\nBuild and scale our high-throughput, low-latency metering pipeline.\n\nBuild and maintain BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) deployments in customers’ cloud environments.\n\nImprove the developer experience by building tools and infrastructure that help our engineering teams move faster and ship with confidence.\n\nPlay an active role in shaping our architecture and driving key technical decisions.\n\nWhat we think can help you achieve your goals\n3+ years of backend software engineering experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure.\n\nProven experience designing and building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.\n\nStrong understanding of messaging systems and event-driven architectures.\n\nHands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExperience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.\n\nDaily hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) and agentic development workflows.\n\nYou Are\nExcited about building new products and systems from the ground up.\n\nPragmatic, curious, and comfortable expressing a strong technical opinion.\n\nFast learner who can adopt new technologies from research to production.\n\nAn excellent communicator and collaborator.\n\nProactive and highly motivated.\n\nBonus Points\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.\n\nExperience building SDKs, CLI tools, or internal developer tooling.\n\nExperience with Kafka and stream processing frameworks like Apache Flink.\n\nExperience building and operating high-scale, low-latency systems.\n\nExperience working on infrastructure or platform teams with a strong focus on developer experience (DevEx).\n\nHands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.\n\nExperience with Argo CD and GitOps workflows.\n\nNow to the important details\nPerks\nStack Stock options, a competitive salary, a new MacBook Pro, plenty of SWAG, and a fun, dog-friendly office.
