Route driving delivery cannabis products to our retail locations and third-party retailers that carry our products. Cannabis Industry experience is a plus!\nKey Responsibilities:\nWill be driving Cargo Van vehicles. \nPick-up, load, and transport finished products directly to the customer \nFollow routes and time schedules \nPackage product and operate your delivery vehicle \nReceive feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints \nCollect payments, handle cash and change \nComplete logs and reports \nInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance \nComply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures \nAssist with store delivery and pick up, loading and unloading, removing dunnage and pallets \nManeuver trucks into loading and unloading positions \nCollect and verify delivery instructions \nReport defects, accidents, or violations \nPerforms work under direct supervision. \nHandles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. \nDiligent, Punctual and Ready to work! \nPerform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.\nNote: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.\nQualifications:\nExcellent time management skills \nAbility to multi-task \nCoachable, highly motivated, and driven to succeed. \nPossesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. \nReceptive to critique and training \nAbility to handle and maintain cash \nExcellent organizational and time management skills \nAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) \nExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations \nAble to create, maintain and build professional relationships and rapport\nEducation & Experience:\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent. \nAbility to drive cargo vans \nUnderstanding of all driving laws will need to be followed (E.g., weight stations, speed, paperwork recording, etc.) \nTrucking school diploma or certifications preferred, but not required \nProven working experience as a delivery driver in any industry\nThe pay range for this role is $20.00-$23.00 per hour.\nRequirements\nMust be over 21 years of age. \nValid California driver’s license with 0 points, no accidents in 3 years. \nClean driving record \nAvailable for on-site operations work Monday-Friday. \nWork revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed. \nProlonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer. \nAble to stand up to 4 hours at a time. \nAbility to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool. \nBe able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time. \nMust be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. \nMust be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
