Working closely with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, you will proactively resolve issues, manage risks, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.\nThis is a varied and hands-on role that combines project coordination, site supervision, stakeholder management, and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements across the KION portfolio.\nThe position is home-based with extensive travel throughout the UK, including regular overnight stays, and occasional European travel for training and site visits.\nWe offer:\nAt Linde Material Handling, we believe in rewarding our people. Your package will include:\nCompetitive salary based on experience\n25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays\nAdditional holiday entitlement for long service milestones\nCompany pension scheme (6% employer contribution, minimum 4% employee contribution)\nAccess to discounts from major UK brands\n“Recommend a Friend” bonus scheme\nEligibility for Employee Incentive Schemes\nLaptop and phone provided\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWe're looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:\nProven experience supervising large-scale site installations within the materials handling, storage, automation, racking, or wider capital equipment sectors.\nStrong understanding of site coordination, including labour management, subcontractors, plant, materials, access requirements, work sequencing, and interfaces with other trades.\nWorking knowledge of CDM regulations, RAMS, site inductions, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.\nQualifications such as SARI, SSSTS, SMSTS, or IOSH Managing Safely are highly desirable.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project programmes, with the confidence to identify and resolve on-site issues effectively.\nCommercial awareness, with experience monitoring project progress, costs, variations, supplier performance, and snagging activities.\nExcellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.\nProficient in Microsoft 365 and project scheduling or cost-tracking systems.
