As an MRP & BOM Administrator based in Belrose, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs), Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data and production planning information within our ERP system.\nThis position directly supports Production, Purchasing, Planning and Engineering teams, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, and that product costing and manufacturing plans are built on accurate system data.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys reading engineering drawings, working with data, manufacturing processes and ERP systems, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON\nCreate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) from engineering drawings and approved design information\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing routings, production steps, labour allocations and manufacturing times\nMaintain accurate item master, planning and MRP data within the ERP system\nReview MRP requirements, material shortages and planning exceptions\nManage purchased part information including supplier details, sourcing data and pricing\nSupport Production Planning and Purchasing by ensuring system data accurately determines whether parts are manufactured in-house or purchased from suppliers\nUpdate BOMs and routings to reflect approved engineering changes\nInvestigate and resolve data discrepancies that could impact production, purchasing, inventory or costing\nGenerate BOM and MRP reports and identify opportunities for process improvement\nSupport products including racking, conveyor systems, AGVs and control panels\nSETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS\n3 - 5 years’ experience in an MRP/ERP, manufacturing or production planning environment\nAn understanding of Bills of Materials, manufacturing routings, MRP and production planning processes\nThe ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\nStrong Excel, data management and analytical skills\nA methodical approach to accuracy and attention to detail\nThe confidence to identify issues, investigate root causes and work collaboratively to resolve them\nExperience with Syteline or a similar ERP system will be highly regarded\nQualifications in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline are desirable\nThe data you maintain drives critical business decisions every day. Accurate BOMs, routings and MRP data drive purchasing, production planning and product costing.
