Your responsibilities will include:\nDelivering training programs covering operations, mechanical maintenance, controls maintenance, specific equipment, software, and customer solutions.\nUnderstanding and effectively communicating how the Dematic’s custom solutions integrate into the operation of material handling systems.\nAdapting quickly to changing curriculum and equipment requirements.\nAct as a subject matter expert contributing to the creation of student guides and training materials for traditional delivery platforms and fully digital deliveries.\nTake on greater responsibilities as company and equipment knowledge grows.\nQualifications:\nWe are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience delivering related training for customized products and systems, preferably in the material handling industry with an emphasis on controls. \nProficiency with PLCs and exposure to PLC programming and industrial controls (AB and Siemens preferred).\nFamiliarity with mechanical disciplines and experience with machine diagnostics, repair, and automation.\nAbility to read and interpret industrial mechanical and controls drawing sets and design requirements.\nExceptional communication and training skills with a strong attention to detail.\nStrong desire to help others learn.\nSafety Expectations and Physical Requirements:\nAbility to work while adhering to PPE requirements.\nPhysical ability to navigate around equipment in distribution centers, including bending, crouching, and reaching.\nComfortable navigating ladders and multi-story steel stairways.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of tools/equipment.\nCapable of standing and navigating on concrete surfaces for extended periods, including walking long distances.\nProficiency in utilizing small hand tools for work performed.\nAdaptability to work in various temperature conditions, ranging from freezer to high temperatures, and near hot surfaces and moving equipment.\nTravel Expectations:\nThis position requires up to 75% travel.\nThis position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our training programs and the development of our team members.
