Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWhat You Will Do in This Role\nAs an Advanced Analytics Co-op, you’ll work alongside software engineers, data analysts, and other technical team members to solve real-world problems using data. You’ll gain hands-on experience with analytics, dashboards, databases, cloud technologies, and warehouse automation while contributing to projects that are used by real customers.\nThis is an opportunity to take what you’re learning in the classroom and apply it to large-scale, automated distribution and manufacturing environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork with engineers, analysts, and business partners to understand problems and turn them into practical analytics solutions.\nHelp design, build, test, and improve dashboards, reports, and other data-driven applications.\nQuery and analyze data using technologies such as SQL, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft SQL Server.\nWork with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to turn data into useful insights.\nLearn how data moves through automated warehouse and material handling systems and how it can be used to improve operations.\nAssist with testing and validating analytics solutions to make sure the results are accurate and ready for customer use.\nParticipate in requirements discussions, technical design sessions, troubleshooting, and solution reviews.\nDocument solutions and communicate your findings to both technical and non-technical team members.\nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team while also taking ownership of individual assignments.\nGain exposure to cloud platforms, modern data architectures, and large-scale industrial automation systems.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nEducation\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Kettering University, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.\nStudents at different points in their co-op journey are encouraged to apply. We’re looking for curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn, not someone who already knows everything on this list.\nKnowledge / Qualifications\nYou don’t need to check every box. A strong candidate will have some of the following experience through coursework, personal projects, previous co-op rotations, or other hands-on learning:\nBasic experience with SQL and relational databases.\nExperience with or an interest in Python for data analysis, automation, or application development.\nFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.\nAn interest in working with data to identify trends, investigate problems, and develop solutions.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to dig into unfamiliar technical challenges.\nGood written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly.\nExperience working on team-based programming, engineering, or analytics projects through coursework, extracurricular activities, or previous co-op assignments.\nExposure to cloud technologies, data engineering, APIs, or modern software development is a plus.\nAn interest in automation, robotics, material handling equipment, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain technology is a plus.\nMost importantly, a desire to learn, experiment, ask questions, and build things that solve real
