Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWhat you will do in this role:\nReview customer and sales requirements; collaborate with key partners to develop executable system concepts.\nLead team members to build 3D models and proposal drawings, driving the design to concept freeze.\nGenerate material lists and clear scope-of-work summaries.\nIssue quote requests and validate vendor proposals.\nIdentify and apply standard subsystems and modules.\nIdentify and assess project risks to mitigate financial, technical, and schedule risk\nSet priorities and develop strong cross-departmental collaboration.\nLead technical and pricing reviews for assigned projects.\nOwn all engineering activities and deliverables throughout the project quotation phase.\nApply value-engineering principles to improve system performance or reduce cost when required.\nEnsure smooth project turnover to execution teams, providing scope clarification as needed.\nProvide accountability for all technical, cost, and contractual aspects of assigned projects; serve as a key liaison for internal teams and vendors.\nProduce and maintain appropriate documentation for estimating deliverables\nFully interpret, evaluate and respond to customer RFPs and specifications.\nEnsure all deliverables meet quality standards and align with SDNA processes.\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience in material handling, automation, or complex system engineering.\nBackground in one or more of the following: Construction Estimating, Project Management, Mechatronics, Systems, Controls, Application, or Industrial Engineering.\nStrong leadership of cross-disciplinary teams with excellent communication skills.\nSolid understanding of mechanical systems, controls architecture, and operational workflows.\nProven problem-solving ability with a focus on risk, cost, and value optimization.\nConveyor and sortation systems (case, pallet, linear/crossbelt) experience.\nBulk handling, ASRS/unit load systems, monorail, and structural systems.\nPLC controls, WMS/WCS software, simulation, and modeling tools.\nUp to 10% travel.
