The Assembly Technician is responsible for producing basic components by assembling parts and subassemblies using small tools, fixtures, and testing instruments.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nProduces basic components by assembling parts and subassemblies using small tools and fixtures, hands, and drawings or blueprints when necessary.\nFollows standard operating procedures and work instructions (written and verbal).\nTests the quality of work using prescribed methods including measuring devices.\nNotifies Supervisor or Lead when Quality Issues arise.\nCompletes any necessary work records accurately and in a timely manner.\nWorks with the rest of the team to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.\nWorks overtime if necessary, including evenings and weekends.\nAdheres to all implemented VSM, VKS and Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S).\nPerform other duties as assigned\nOther Duties\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
