Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nAs an Etch Equipment Engineer in STMicroelectronics, you will be responsible for:\nSystematic troubleshooting of equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime.\nEstablish optimum spares and consumables stock to support equipment maintenance.\nEstablish effective preventive maintenance program me and troubleshooting guide. \nSetup effective detection and monitor system to prevent equipment excursion.\nCoordinate and drive new equipment hookup, startup and release.\nDrive Continuous Improvement project (CIP) to achieve best in class in quality and cost\nTrain and certify Assistant Maintenance Engineers (AME) and Preventive Maintenance Technician (PMT) in systematic troubleshooting and PM maintenance skill. \nWork closely with Process and production engineers to ensure key performance indices are met. \nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nDegree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.\nAt least 2 years relevant Equipment/Field service experience in semiconductor industry\nFamiliar with LAM Rainbow 4420 or LAM9400SE/PTX/DFM/DSIE or LAM2300 Coronus/ Syndion Dry Etching equipment \nExperience in SPC, FDC, APC, DOE and yield analysis software will be advantages.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills \nGood team player\nGood communication and documentation skills\nStrong sense of responsibility, dedication to assigned tasks, and the ability to work diligently in a team-oriented environment.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
