Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nFacilities Electrical Engineer\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Electrical Engineer to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of critical electrical systems within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role is essential to maintaining uninterrupted operations, supporting facility improvements, and driving compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the site.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and infrastructure.\nLead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize system reliability and uptime.\nSupport electrical projects, upgrades, retrofits, and system modifications from concept through implementation.\nCoordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications.\nAnalyze system performance data to identify opportunities for improved reliability, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, environmental, and company standards.\nConduct technical reviews, risk assessments, audits, and inspections as required.\nPrepare technical reports, maintenance records, and status updates for management.\nDrive continuous improvement, Lean, and energy-saving initiatives within the facilities function.\nProvide support for other facility engineering activities as needed.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related discipline.\n3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, electrical systems, and energy management within a semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or industrial environment.\nStrong knowledge of sustainability, energy reduction, and utility efficiency programs.\nFamiliarity with Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nUnderstanding of safety requirements, permit-to-work systems, and compliance standards.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, mission-critical environment.\nExperience in semiconductor, wafer fab, cleanroom, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments is preferred.\nWorking knowledge of power systems, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and control systems.\nExperience in energy management, reliability improvement, or asset integrity programs.\nPreferred Attributes\nStrong ownership and accountability.\nHands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.\nAbility to collaborate across functions and influence multiple stakeholders.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
