The role focuses on the operation, maintenance, enhancement, and support of the Inficon Factory Planning & Scheduling (FPS) platform, associated ETL processes, and manufacturing data provisioning services.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Planning, MES, Automation, Data Analytics, and central IT teams to ensure reliable, accurate, and timely delivery of production scheduling capabilities and manufacturing information required for operational decision making.\nRoles & Responsibilities Inficon FPS Operations & Support\nEnsure the availability, stability, and performance of the Inficon FPS Scheduler platform.\nMonitor daily production scheduling activities and support end users in the execution of scheduling processes.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues impacting planning and manufacturing operations.\nPerform incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nSupport application upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and system lifecycle activities.\nParticipate in maintenance exercises, disaster recovery tests, and business continuity activities.\nCollaborate with central product teams, vendors, and site stakeholders to coordinate support activities and enhancements.\n\nETL & Data Provisioning\nOperate and support ETL workflows used to collect, transform, and distribute manufacturing data.\nEnsure data quality, consistency, timeliness, and integrity across integrated manufacturing systems.\nTroubleshoot data flow issues between MES, planning systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.\nDevelop and maintain SQL queries, data extraction scripts, interfaces, and automation routines.\nSupport data model evolution to meet changing business requirements.\nParticipate in performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines.\nManufacturing Support\nWork closely with Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Control, and Planning teams to understand operational requirements.\nAnalyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.\nSupport deployment of new scheduling capabilities, optimization algorithms, and production planning initiatives.\nContribute to manufacturing digitalization projects and continuous improvement programs.\nAssist in validating new functionalities and coordinating user acceptance testing.\nGovernance & Documentation\nMaintain technical documentation, operating procedures, recovery guides, and support knowledge bases.\nEnsure compliance with cybersecurity, IT governance, and manufacturing quality requirements.\nContribute to audit preparation and support internal and external compliance activities.\nFollow established change management and release management processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.\n2 - 3 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.\nGood understanding of database technologies and SQL.\nIIS (Internet Information Services) skill is required\nKnowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data management concepts.\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and support processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.\nSolid English communication skills.\nItalian knowledge preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Inficon FPS (Factory Planning & Scheduling) or equivalent manufacturing scheduling solutions.\nKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and production planning concepts.\nExperience with MES, equipment automation, manufacturing data platforms, or reporting solutions.\nUnderstanding of high-availability environments and 24x7 operational support.\nWhat the Candidate Will Be Exposed To\nSemiconductor manufacturing operations and planning processes.\nAdvanced production scheduling and optimization solutions.\nManufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and factory automation ecosystems.\nData engineering, ETL, and manufacturing analytics platforms.\nCross-site collaboration across multiple wafer fabrication facilities.\nEnterprise-grade applications operating in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.\nOn-duty service is part of the team activities \nContinuous improvement, digital manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.\nThe expected salary range for this position if the role is based in Italy sites is €40,000 - €45,000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay and productivity premium.\nIn accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies. The final offer will be made in compliance with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), where relevant, and our internal compensation policies.
