Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nAs an Assembly Process Engineering Intern, you will work with engineers on projects and activities related to semiconductor assembly processes, including SAW, die attach (DA), wire bonding (WB), and molding.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nSupporting process-sustaining and improvement activities to enhance quality and yield, and reduce customer complaints and the rate of lots placed on hold.\nSupporting production in achieving WWS targets.\nMonitoring process performance to ensure it remains within established SPC control limits.\nPreparing and updating process documentation, including specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), FMEAs, and process control plans.\nProviding technical support during investigations of critical quality issues related to materials or processes.\nFollowing all company policies and requirements related to safety, quality, and confidentiality.\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nCurrently pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.\nAble to communicate effectively with people at all levels.\nAble to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with a team.\nComfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage.\nOrganized, detail-oriented, positive, and eager to learn in a manufacturing environment.\nLEARNING OPPORTUNITIES\nYou will gain practical exposure to semiconductor assembly operations, process engineering, data-driven problem-solving, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
