Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nYou will join the R&D Security team at STMicroelectronics, with the objective to study, design, implement, and evaluate secure software gadgets for masked protected Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) on embedded targets, with a focus on Cortex-M-class microcontrollers like STM32s.\nYou will focus on:\nState-of-the-art masked gadgets for protected software implementations\nSoftware optimizations for Cortex-M CPUs\nPQC algorithms such as ML-KEM and ML-DSA\nPerformance analysis and comparison of different approaches\nSecurity evaluation using simulation and/or tools such as ChipWhisperer\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nMaster's degree (on going or just completed) student in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or similar\nGood proficiency in C programming\nA strong interest in cryptography and secure embedded software\nAn interest in microcontrollers, especially Cortex-M\nMotivation to learn about masking, side-channel resistance, and PQC\nBe able to communicate effectively in English\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
