Our technology starts with you.\nSTMicroelectronics Malta is seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nWork to resolve and eliminate production issues that impact plant productivity, customer deliveries, and product quality. \nLead a team of process, production, and maintenance personnel in the preparation and delivery of Internal Incident Reports in a complete and timely manner. \nDevelop and coordinate the execution of Root Cause Analysis, establish valid and timely Permanent Corrective Actions, and present the results in 8D reports to ST Malta Management.\nManage non-conforming material in accordance with quality standards, including the monitoring and driving of related metrics.\nEnsure proper document control flow in DMS.\nDrive and support quality initiatives aimed at improving processes and overall quality, using Six Sigma methodology and the DMAIC process.\nCertify QC Operators.\nReview QC rejects at raw line and finishing stages and define the appropriate disposition.\nSkills & Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate shall:\nHold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.\nHave 5 years of experience in an Industrial Quality role.\nPossess knowledge and practical experience in 8D reporting and methodology, FMEA, and SPC.\nKnowledge of IATF 16949 standards is required. \nExperience in managing non-standard material is considered an asset.\nExperience in the semiconductor industry is considered an asset.\nHave business-level English proficiency.\nBe highly proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
