The candidate will belong to a team reporting to the Defectivity Section Manager and will act in a technologically state of the art environment with individual tasks to be fulfilled, strictly in contact with teammates and other functions' colleagues.\nAs a Defectivity Engineer, the candidate will:\nSet up in-line Defectivity control plan and monitoring systems.\nAnalyze Defectivity issues/excursions and drive cross functional team for actions to prevent recurrence.\nPerform defect characterization and defect source analysis for troubleshooting of chronic/baseline issues.\nWork with cross functional teams to drive Defectivity reduction programs, baseline yield improvement activities and to study kill ratio of the defect.\nDrive Defectivity improvement taskforces.\nDrive Defectivity robustness projects.\nCreate and manage Defectivity inspection tool recipe.\nContribute to new technologies/products porting and introduction interacting both with R&D or sending plant\nInteract with tool suppliers and equipment engineering team to negotiate services on the tools and evaluate possible upgrades to improve detection capabilities or inspection speed.\nYOUR EXPERIENCES & SKILLS\nDegree in Material Science/Physics/Chemistry/Engineering (electronics, physics, chemistry, materials).\nPreferred: minimum 3 years working experience and good knowledge in defectivity methodology and inspection tools.\nAbility to lead and participate in cross functional problem-solving teams.\nGood interpersonal skills.\nSelf-driven and independent character with a curious mind.\nAnalytical, data-mining attitude with attention to details.\nFluent English (prerequisite); French knowledge will be appreciated as a plus.\nOffice Suite knowledge is a mandatory requirement.\nKnowledge of Klarity Defects/Spotfire and other Defectivity related tools will be an added advantage.\nFamiliarity with SPC concept and problem-solving tools; FMEA, 8D, Data mining & analysis will be advantageous.\nThe expected salary range for this position is €38,000 - €45,000 gross annual salary (RAL).\nIn accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies.
