Our technology starts with you.\nYour RoleAs a Senior Engineer (NPI Project Management), you will lead the qualification and industrialization of new semiconductor products, ensuring successful introduction into manufacturing while meeting business, quality, cost, and schedule objectives. You will manage cross-functional projects from risk assessment through product maturity and mass production readiness, following established New Product Introduction (NPI), package development, and manufacturing transfer procedures.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead the qualification of new semiconductor products and manufacturing processes to support business and customer requirements. \nAssess technical gaps, manufacturing risks, and development needs for new products versus existing manufacturing capabilities. \nDefine product target specifications and recommend appropriate processes, equipment, and materials for qualification. \nDevelop project plans, milestones, schedules, and resource requirements to ensure timely project execution. \nCoordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Engineering, and Division stakeholders. \nEstablish and execute product workability, characterization, reliability, and qualification plans. \nAnalyze qualification data, publish results, and drive resolution of technical issues with project teams. \nLead product and process maturity activities, ensuring compliance with NPI and product qualification frameworks. \nPrepare manufacturing sites for line stressing activities, including material readiness, capacity planning, documentation, and resource preparation. \nCo-lead line stressing execution and control plan implementation with Operations Pre-Production teams. \nPresent technical qualification reports, maturity reviews, and certification packages to review boards and stakeholders. \nSupport volume ramp-up activities and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams. \nDrive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives to achieve manufacturing performance targets, including yield and unit cost objectives. \nPromote and ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) requirements while maintaining a safe and organized workplace. \nThis position requires strong technical leadership, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple organizations to deliver successful product qualifications and manufacturing readiness.\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCESEducationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communications Engineering. \nExperienceMinimum of 7years of technical or project management experience in a related manufacturing environment. \nProven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), product qualification, process development, and manufacturing ramp-up activities. \nExperience managing cross-functional projects and leading teams in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. \nTechnical Skills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and product qualification methodologies. \nSolid background in the manufacturing or semiconductor industry. \nKnowledge of product and process maturity frameworks, qualification planning, reliability assessments, and manufacturing transfers. \nAbility to operate and understand production equipment and manufacturing tools. \nComputer literacy and proficiency with engineering and project management tools. \nLeadership & Soft SkillsStrong leadership and project management capabilities. \nExcellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills. \nAbility to influence cross-functional teams and drive project execution. \nSelf-driven, resourceful, and proactive in solving technical and operational challenges. \nQuality & Continuous Improvement CompetenciesCandidates should possess knowledge or experience in the following quality methodologies and tools:\nAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) \nDesign of Experiments (DOE) \nDFMEA / PFMEA \n8D Problem Solving Methodology \nProduction Part Approval Process (PPAP) \nStatistical Process Control (SPC) and QC Tools \nDocument Control and Quality Management Systems (QMS) \nPoka-Yoke (Mistake Proofing) \nMeasurement System Analysis (MSA) \nBusiness AcumenFamiliarity with the local semiconductor industry and its manufacturing environment. \nAbility to balance technical requirements, quality expectations, project schedules, and cost objectives to support business goals.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
