Our technology starts with you.\n\nVOTRE MISSION\nDans le cadre de la modernisation de notre infrastructure, nous cherchons un stagiaire pour améliorer et réimplémenter notre ordonnanceur de tâches (job scheduler) en Python.\nCet ordonnanceur est chargé de répartir les processus de simulation et validation entre plusieurs machines distantes en fonction de leur disponibilité, sans contrainte de latence ou de bande passante, dans un environnement multi-utilisateur à demande dynamique.\nCe stage est une opportunité de travailler sur un projet logiciel concret, appuyé par des ingénieurs expérimentés et des outils d'IA générative dans une équipe multidisciplinaire chargée de la conception d'IP logiques, de validation et d'automatisation.\nVos responsabilités comprendront:\nEvaluer les prototypes et outils existants\nConcevoir et évaluer la performance des implémentations envisagées\nEcrire un module Python prêt à être mis en production pour l'ordonnanceur\nDéfinir et implémenter un système centralisé de partage des ressources pour répondre aux changements dynamiques de capacité.\nVOS COMPÉTENCES et EXPÉRIENCES\nVous êtes un étudiant de master en ingénierie logicielle, électronique, ou un domaine proche, et avez:\nDe fortes compétences en programmation\nUne bonne connaissance de Python\nDe l'expérience avec les fondamentaux Unix/Linux, comprenant les processus, signaux et descripteurs de fichiers\nUne expérience préalable avec les technologies suivantes est utile, mais non requise:\nOrdonnanceurs et outils d'exécution distribués (Slurm, Kubernetes, Ray, Dask, Apache Spark...)\nIBM Spectrum LSF\nRéseau et technologies de messagerie (ZMQ, Iroh, MPI...)\nTechnologies web pour interface de contrôle (uWSGI, HTML, CSS, OIDC…).\nYOUR ROLE\nAs part of our infrastructure modernization, we are looking for an intern to help redesign and implement our job scheduler in Python.\nThe scheduler is responsible for dispatching various simulation and validation processes to remote machines according to their availability, under relaxed latency and bandwidth constraints, in a dynamic multi-user environment with flexible demand.\nThis internship offers the opportunity to work on a concrete system software project, while being supported by experienced engineers and generative AI tools in a multidisciplinary team handling logic IP design, validation and automation.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nAssessing the existing tools and prototypes\nDesigning and benchmarking possible implementations\nWriting a production-ready Python module for the job scheduler.\nDefining and implementing a centralized resource allocation system to handle dynamic capacity changes.\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nYou are a master’s student in software engineering, computer science, electronics, or a related field, and you have:\nStrong programming skills;\nGood knowledge of Python;\nExperience with core Unix/Linux fundamentals, including processes, signals and file descriptors.\nExperience with the following technologies is appreciated but not required:\nSchedulers and distributed execution tools (Slurm, Kubernetes, Ray, Dask, Apache Spark, etc.);\nIBM Spectrum LSF;\nNetworking & messaging technologies (ZMQ, Iroh, MPI, etc.);\nWeb technologies for control interfaces (uWSGI, HTML, CSS, OIDC, etc).\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
