Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nAccountable for mass-production laminate substrate design and engineering changes, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with technical requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external suppliers, to ensure substrate designs meet performance, quality, and delivery targets.\nDrive strategic technical sourcing for substrates to optimize the substrate landscape for efficiency, effectiveness, and resiliency.\nLead substrate-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.\nSupport long-term sustainable substrate strategy across cost, delivery, quality, and environmental considerations.\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nBachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.\nStrong technical expertise in semiconductor laminate substrate design, integrated semiconductor manufacturing and substrate supplier manufacturing processes.\nOver 5 years of hands-on experience working with semiconductor material suppliers, with end-to-end experience spanning raw material evaluation, qualification, and high-volume production.\nSolid understanding of Control Plans, FMEA, error-proofing, process control, and IATF standards.\nDemonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to shape and evolve the substrate landscape in alignment with business priorities.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with strong technical program and project management capabilities.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
