This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical projects within one of the fastest-growing sectors in the construction and engineering industry.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) systems throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and technical coordination through construction, commissioning and final handover.\nWorking closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Consultants, Contractors and Specialist Suppliers, you will ensure that all MEP works are delivered safely, to the highest technical standards, on programme and in accordance with project requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Delivery & Coordination\nCoordinate and manage the delivery of MEP systems across complex data centre projects.\nSupport the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of project milestones.\nCoordinate interfaces between mechanical, electrical, public health, architectural, structural and specialist systems.\nReview project drawings, specifications, technical submittals, and design information to ensure compliance with project requirements.\nIdentify technical risks, design clashes, and coordination issues, providing effective solutions to maintain programme and project progress.\nManage and respond to technical queries, RFIs and design changes in conjunction with the wider project team.\nAttend and actively contribute to design, technical, progress, and coordination meetings.\nTechnical Engineering\nProvide technical oversight and coordination of critical MEP infrastructure, including:HV and LV electrical distribution systems\nUPS systems and standby generation\nCooling, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems\nChilled water and DX cooling systems\nFire protection and life safety systems\nBMS, EPMS and associated control systems\nWater services and drainage systems\n\nReview equipment selections and technical submissions to ensure compliance with specifications, performance requirements and applicable standards.\nSupport the development and implementation of coordinated MEP installation strategies.\nEnsure systems are designed and installed to meet the resilience, redundancy and availability requirements associated with mission-critical facilities.\nConstruction & Site Management\nMonitor the progress and quality of MEP installation works on site.\nCarry out site inspections and ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.\nWork closely with contractors and specialist suppliers to resolve technical and installation issues.\nSupport programme management by identifying potential delays and coordinating recovery actions where required.\nPromote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality throughout all project activities.\nCommissioning & Handover\nSupport the development and coordination of MEP testing and commissioning activities.\nWork with commissioning teams and specialist vendors to ensure systems are fully tested and perform in accordance with the project requirements.\nAssist with the coordination of integrated systems testing and final project handover.\nReview commissioning documentation, test records, O&M manuals, and final technical documentation.\nCandidate Profile\nThe successful candidate will ideally have:\nA degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.\nDemonstrable experience in an MEP Project Engineer, Building Services Engineer, MEP Coordinator, or similar project delivery role.\nExperience working on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or other technically complex projects.\nStrong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health building services.\nA good understanding of data centre infrastructure and mission-critical design principles, including redundancy and resilience requirements.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and specialist suppliers.\nStrong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.\nKnowledge of relevant building regulations, industry standards and health and safety requirements.\nExperience using BIM coordination tools, including Revit and Navisworks, would be advantageous.\nExcellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.\nThe ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced project environment.\nA proactive, collaborative and commercially aware approach to project delivery.\nWillingness to
