Formal rotation assignments include the Operations and Estimating departments.\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities:\nEstimating Rotation\nExecutes amendments and/or change orders.\nDiscusses schedule and budget with client, architect and Engineer.\nDevelops key vendor list to ensure database of subcontractors and suppliers are current\nPrepares, completes or reviews all project reports to ensure accuracy. Provides project status report, financial reports and project schedules in accordance with company guidelines on timeliness and completeness of information.\nAttends pre-construction and/or bid meetings.\nFacilitates weekly project status meeting with owner, owners' rep, vendors, subcontractors and others connected with the project. Prepares and distributes meeting minutes indicating agreements reached, task assignments and related information.\nEnsures all bid requirements are known at the outset of the bidding process.\nManage trades.\nResponsible for labor counts.\nAssist with scheduling materials/deliveries.\nOperations Rotation\nSets up meetings and interacts with Subcontractors.\nReads and interprets blueprints and specifications.\nAcquires all necessary insurance certificates and permits for project start up.\nResponds to clients' questions/requests.\nResponsible for subcontractors and all activities on site.\nSets up and puts together close out book.\nSoft Skills or Competencies:\nProcess Management- Take a systematic approach in contributing to making the company’s workflow more effective, efficient, and capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment.\nQuality Focus- Ensure that all work is one’s own area of the business, throughout the organization, by vendors, suppliers, etc. is performed with excellence and to high standards for quality and integrity.\nInformation Seeking - Driven by an underlying curiosity and desire to know more about things, people or issues.
