Screening of applications are completed when open positions become available.\nDescriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:\nPlease visit the Sociology and Anthropology webpage at https:https://stockton.edu/social-behavioral-sciences/sociology-anthropology.html for additional information about our program and course offerings.\nAdjunct instructors are expected to:\nTeach courses as scheduled\nUse Blackboard (the Learning Management System) to support the course\nProvide a syllabus for students and the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences no later than the 1st day of classes in the semester they are teaching\nSubmit required and recommended course materials to the campus bookstore in a timely manner\nAccess student work and provide timely feedback\nProvide weekly office hours (virtual or in-person) and communicate frequently with students\nSelect course objectives and administer student evaluations according to established timelines\nStay up to date in the field and pedagogy in higher ed.\nConsult with the Center for Teaching and Learning Design (CTLD) as needed\nFollow all guidelines and meet expectations of faculty in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences\nSupport Stockton University’s strong student-centered vision and mission\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster's Degree\nScreening Information:\n This job will be posted continuously to expand Stockton University’s pool of qualified adjunct (part-time) instructors.
