does related work as required.\nDescriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:\nOperates, monitors, and maintains boilers, engines, turbines, motors, generators, pumps, and related auxiliary equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of power and heating systems\nPerforms routine, minor, and emergency repairs and adjustments to generators, motors, feed and vacuum pumps, blowers, governors, automatic stokes, piping, and other power plant equipment\nConducts operational tests, inspections, and readings of fuel consumption, water usage, pressure, draft conditions, temperatures, steam flow, and other system conditions; identifies abnormalities and takes appropriate corrective action\nMaintains accurate operational records and inventories, including power plant logs, equipment readings, fuel and water consumption, maintenance activities, materials, supplies, and equipment usage;
