You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.\nYou’ll be responsible for preparing test plans, writing and automating test cases, validating frontend functionality against backend systems, and contributing to automation maturity. This role suits someone who is curious, detail-oriented, strong in problem-solving, and passionate about continuous learning. This role is for one of our XT teams(Experience Team) responsible for payments, user identity and order management flows.\nWhat you’ll do\nWork collaboratively with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality software.\nUnderstand BRDs/PRDs, derive scenarios, and prepare detailed test plans.\nCreate well-structured test cases following QA best practices.\nAutomate test cases for Web, iOS, and Android applications using WebdriverIO, Selenium, and Appium.\nValidate frontend data against backend responses (API checks, JSON, logs).\nPerform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile apps.\nExecute tests on cloud-based platforms (e.g., Allure TestOps, LambdaTest, BrowserStack, SauceLabs).\nGenerate and maintain rich test reports using Allure or equivalent frameworks.\nParticipate in sprint ceremonies including planning, grooming, and release testing.\nRaise defects clearly, identify risks early, and ensure timely resolution.\nContribute to automation frameworks and maintain robust test suites.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\nCollaborate with QA peers to improve test coverage, share results, and solve challenges.\nContribute to long-term QA strategy, automation enhancements, and tooling improvements.\nUse MCP tools (good to have) for assisted test creation and self-healing automation.\nReview documentation and contribute to test strategies, automation design, and quality processes.\nAbout You \n2+ years of experience in Web and Mobile Automation Testing.\nStrong experience with:\nWebdriverIO\nSelenium\nAppium\nJavaScript/TypeScript\nExperience testing iOS and Android apps (manual + automation).\nExperience with cloud execution platforms (LambdaTest, BrowserStack, SauceLabs).\nExperience with reporting frameworks such as Allure.\nAbility to debug issues using DevTools, ADB, Xcode tools, APIs, and logs.\nFamiliarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong analytical and debugging capabilities.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\nCurious, proactive, and eager to learn.\nAble to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nNice to have skills\nMCP experience for test creation/self-healing automation.\nExposure to performance, load, or security testing.\nFamiliarity with modern frontend frameworks.\nAPI automation or end-to-end automation experience.\nTest management tools (Jira, TestRail).\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nBroader coding experience (Java, C#, TypeScript) or OOP fundamentals\nAbout StockX\n\n StockX is proud to be a Detroit-based technology leader focused on the large and growing online market for sneakers, apparel, accessories, electronics, collectibles, trading cards, and more.
