Join us as a Operations Coordinator\nAs the Operations Coordinator, you will plan and execute the logistics requirements for the successful export and import of customer orders, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service while working within STC’s Quality Management System.\nAt Stolt Tank Containers (STC), we move today’s products for tomorrow’s possibilities. Safely, reliably and on time.\nWhat you will be doing\nAs an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently managing day-to-day operational activities that connect customers, suppliers, and internal teams across the logistics chain. You will handle customer bookings received through multiple channels, ensure accurate and timely export and import documentation, and oversee precise execution of invoicing in line with STC’s procedures and customer-specific requirements. You will also play a key role in issue resolution, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, assisting Operations Team Leads with projects, maintaining close communication with local operational teams, and ensuring that all operations follow safety regulations while embodying STC’s mission and vision.\nKey responsibilities\nProcess customer bookings received via Web, EDI, API, and email, ensuring timely and correct handling and meeting agreed KPIs; Coordinate accurate processing and distribution of shipping instructions and any documentation related to additional charges, such as manifest corrections.\nHandle export documentation, including punctual and precise shipping instructions in line with STC’s quality procedures; Send documentation to customers and create/distribute release instructions to ocean carriers and terminals.\nEnsure systems are updated with all necessary details and information required to successfully ship containers; Monitor and control the end-to-end process for import shipments, including verifying estimated arrival information. \nExecute STC’s billing procedures accurately and efficiently; Issue invoices for additional charges in accordance with STC’s additional charge tariff and/or customer-specific billing requirements. \nRegister events and non-conformities when suppliers fail to meet STC’s or customers’ service-quality expectations. \nContribute to identifying root causes, and corrective and preventive actions where necessary; Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. \nUphold compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, ensuring safe and responsible operations; Identify solutions to minimize disruptions in the logistics process, such as delays, route changes, and incidents. \nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Business Administration. \nA minimum of 2 years experience in operations and logistics industry experience is a plus.\nMust have excellent communication skills in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.\nStrong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.\nExcellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite.\nMust have experience working in an international environment\nWhat we offer\nCollaborate within a supportive team environment guided by a commitment to quality.\nAccess to state-of-the-art tools and systems that enhance workflow efficiency.\nOpportunities for career progression within a global leader in bulk logistics and training events.\nExtra\nCV's must be in English to be considered. \nCV's must indicate that you are multilingual in Spanish, English, and Portuguese to be considered.\nAbout Stolt-Nielsen\nStolt-Nielsen (SNL, Oslo Børs) is a global leader in bulk-liquid logistics, connecting customers’ products from source to destination through tankers, storage terminals and ISO tank containers.
