With increasing investment in water, wastewater, and environmental infrastructure, we’re growing fast - and we’re looking for passionate people to grow with us.\nWhat you'll be doing\nYou will be responsible for performing all commercial management duties on construction contracts from Pre-construction through the Construction Phase to Final Account and Certificate. • Carry out thorough financial negotiations as required in order to secure client • Work with the project delivery team, prepare a realistic budget for schemes in order to maximise revenue, profit and reputation. • Advise on commercial matters and implications in the planning process to ensure that all works are carried out to the maximum efficiency. • Prepare labour pricing schedules for the delivery of the works under the PayGo pricing system and for subcontractors. • Prepare, submit and agree monthly interim valuations and final accounts to ensure timely processing of client invoicing and payment applications. • Manage change and identify, prepare, submit and agree early warning notices and compensation events as required under NEC and other contracts. • Agree and submit monthly interim valuations and final accounts to ensure timely processing of client invoicing and payment applications. • Compile monthly reconciliations and work in progress assessments for management accounts. • Manage risk and advise on mitigation of risk. • Review aged debt on a regular basis and manage outstanding retentions to ensure the business receives its cash from customers on a timely basis. • Receive enquiries and tenders for works not covered through Framework schedule of rates pricing. • Take-off quantities from the Scope Information for pricing.Who we’re looking for\nRelevant degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, construction related discipline, or significant work experience.\nExperience of pricing works from first principles.\nAbility to work on construction contracts using recognised forms, e.g., NEC, JCT, FIDIC, or bespoke Framework Agreements.\nPossess strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel\nFull driving licence\nWhat we're offering\nHolidays\nYou will receive 24 days’ paid holiday per annum, rising to 25 after two years’ service.\nOptions to buy five extra days using the Holiday Scheme.Volunteering day - up to two days per year to contribute to our local communities.\nEnhanced occupational maternity leave policy.
