This role assists with preventative maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nProvide professional and courteous service at all times.\nAssist with maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C units, and hotel equipment.\nMonitor electric, gas, and water consumption and report issues as needed.\nEnsure all maintenance projects are completed on time and according to specifications.\nPractice safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, in accordance with OSHA standards.\nPerform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.\nConduct maintenance checks of equipment and properly log findings.\nReport all safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty immediately.\nMaintain key inventory and ensure security procedures are followed.\nRespond to emergency situations and assist as needed.\nParticipate in ongoing maintenance programs for event spaces, public areas, and hotel equipment.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and storage areas.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\nBasic knowledge of maintenance systems, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.\nAbility to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.\nFamiliarity with safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, is preferred.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to communicate effectively with team members and management.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.\nWork Environment:\nWork involves both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying temperatures.\nFrequent walking, standing, and lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.\nExposure to noise, vibration, and mechanical equipment during maintenance tasks.\nMust be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with potential on-call responsibilities for emergencies.\nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
