This role plays a critical part in preserving the playability, appearance, and overall quality of the course to ensure an exceptional guest experience for golfers.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nPerform routine maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and rough areas using mowers, trimmers, and hand tools\nWater turf and landscaped areas as directed, operating irrigation systems and hoses to maintain proper course conditions\nRake bunkers, repair ball marks, and replace divots to maintain course aesthetics and playability\nAssist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf treatments under supervision and in accordance with safety guidelines\nOperate utility vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently to transport tools and materials\nFollow all safety and operational procedures when using tools, machinery, and chemicals\nAssist with course setup including hole placements, tee markers, and signage based on daily schedules\nPerform general landscaping duties such as trimming, pruning, weeding, and debris removal\nMonitor course conditions and promptly report any issues with turf, irrigation, or hazards to supervisors\nSupport special projects such as aeration, overseeding, or storm cleanup as needed\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\nPrevious experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred\nBasic understanding of turf care, mowing patterns, and safe equipment operation\nAbility to follow instructions, work independently, and complete tasks with attention to detail\nWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including early mornings\nDependable, team-oriented, and physically capable of manual labor for extended periods\nMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and operate landscaping tools and machinery\nValid driver’s license may be required depending on location\nWork Environment:\nWork is performed almost entirely outdoors, in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting required throughout the shift\nExposure to chemicals, fertilizers, noise equipment, and moving mechanical parts\nEarly morning schedule required, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts based on course needs\nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
