This role is focused on delivering high-quality service to ensure a positive experience for all guests attending dining and banquet functions.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nMaintain high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service. \nGreet guests warmly and ensure prompt drink orders. \nPresent the menu, answer guest questions, and make food and beverage suggestions. \nSuggest wine selections where appropriate. \nRelay orders to the kitchen and beverage services promptly. \nObserve guests to fulfill additional requests and anticipate when they have completed their meals. \nClear and reset tables efficiently. \nComplete all assigned side work tasks during shifts. \nMaintain a clean and organized work and storage area. \nAssist with setting up, cleaning, and refreshing banquet function rooms. \nAttend department meetings and complete tasks assigned by the Banquet Manager. \nFollow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including reading and understanding MSDS. \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\nPrevious experience in banquet or restaurant service preferred. \nStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. \nBasic math skills for handling payments and calculating costs. \nWork Environment:\nPrimarily an indoor environment with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes. \nRequires standing and walking for extended periods during events. \nFrequent lifting and carrying of up to 20 lbs. \nMust be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. \nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
