This role focuses on delivering outstanding guest service, ensuring financial profitability, and overseeing team performance and operational efficiency.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nManages all restaurant and beverage outlet operations, ensuring guest service standards, product quality, and overall profitability. \nCurates the beverage program and crafts a global wine menu that aligns with the restaurant's culture. \nMonitors and develops team member performance, including supervision, evaluations, and recognition. \nCollaborates with the hotel’s General Manager and serves on the Executive Committee. \nEnsures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations. \nImplements marketing initiatives and up-selling techniques to maximize restaurant revenue. \nRecruits, interviews, trains, and manages team members. \nMonitors budget, reviews financial transactions, and ensures expenditures are authorized and within budget. \nMaintains food and equipment inventories and keeps detailed inventory records. \nDevelops weekly staff schedules based on forecasted occupancy while monitoring labor costs. \nAddresses guest complaints and ensures high levels of guest satisfaction. \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\nBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nStrong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and beverage program management. \nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees. \nAbility to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. \nProficiency in basic computer functions, including MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. \nProven ability to lead and manage a team, including performance evaluations, training, and development. \nWork Environment:\nOccasional exposure to cleaning chemicals. \nFrequently stands for more than two-thirds of the time. \nOccasionally walks and sits for less than one-third of the time. \nRegularly lifts and pushes/pulls objects up to 25 lbs. \nAdheres to safety and security procedures to maintain a safe work environment. \nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
