This role includes managing seating arrangements, assisting with reservations, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nGreets guests and escorts them to their seats in a courteous manner. \nPresents menus and answers guest questions regarding the food and service. \nManages seating arrangements based on restaurant activity and reservations. \nPerforms opening and closing duties, ensuring the restaurant is ready for service. \nAssists food and beverage staff with side-work and setup as needed. \nMaintains knowledge of operating hours, menu items, promotions, and specials to assist guests. \nResponds to guest inquiries and ensures their needs are met efficiently. \nCreates and manages reservations using the property reservation system. \nMaintains seating charts and confirms reservations, including large parties and special requests. \nEnsures a clean and organized work environment at all times. \nMay assist with the setup and cleaning of function rooms when necessary. \nAttends department meetings and completes assigned projects. \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\nPrior customer service experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment. \nAbility to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests professionally. \nKnowledge of restaurant operations, menu offerings, and promotions. \nAbility to perform basic arithmetic for tasks such as totaling costs and making change. \nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail. \nAbility to stand and walk for long periods. \nWork Environment:\nMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods. \nMust be able to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally. \nRequires working in an indoor environment, with some exposure to temperature changes depending on operational needs. \nFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. \nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
