This role supports the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness, monitoring guest feedback, and overseeing inventory levels to uphold hotel standards.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nInspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness meets hotel standards. \nReport any unsatisfactory conditions to room attendants and follow up to ensure corrections are made. \nMonitor and maintain cleanliness in event areas, storage rooms, restrooms, and offices. \nAssume responsibility for guest feedback and service scores related to housekeeping. \nReport the status of all guestrooms to the front desk department. \nCollaborate with the Security Office to manage lost and found items. \nAssist in conducting inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment as directed by the Executive Housekeeper. \nParticipate in ordering supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels. \nPerform daily checks of vacant rooms, public spaces, and storage areas. \nMaintain departmental key control for security purposes. \nEnsure deep cleaning programs are executed according to schedule. \nAddress and resolve any guest or housekeeping-related issues promptly. \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\n2+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related role, preferably in a hotel environment. \nExperience in inspecting and maintaining cleanliness standards. \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness levels. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and guests. \nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively. \nProficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). \nStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. \nLeadership skills to guide and motivate the housekeeping team. \nWork Environment:\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods. \nMust be able to lift and carry objects up to 20 lbs. \nFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. \nPrimarily indoor work inspecting guest rooms and public areas. \nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
