This role ensures the highest quality service and maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hours of operation.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nComplies with certification requirements such as Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, and Safety as applicable. \nServes guests with food and beverage orders in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner. \nEnsures the room service area and café wait station are kept clean and tidy. \nOperates the P.O.S. system for order taking and processing. \nFollows proper food handling and sanitation procedures throughout the service. \nProvides prompt and accurate service, ensuring guest satisfaction. \nHandles cash and processes payments according to hotel standards. \nPrepares itemized checks for guests and provides detailed information about orders. \nAssists with the setup and breakdown of service areas as needed. \nLifts and carries trays or other heavy objects as necessary. \nWorks collaboratively with team members to meet service goals. \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\nPrevious experience in a hotel or related field preferred. \nBasic arithmetic skills to total costs and make change. \nAbility to communicate clearly and provide information to guests and team members. \nKnowledge of food and beverage service standards. \nProficiency with P.O.S. systems for order processing. \nWork Environment:\nPrimarily works indoors, with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes. \nFrequently stands and walks for long periods. \nRegularly lifts and carries objects up to 20 lbs., and frequently handles objects weighing up to 10 lbs. \nRequires reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and seeing as part of daily responsibilities. \nFlexibility to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays as needed. \nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
