This role involves monitoring hotel assets, assisting with emergency procedures, and enforcing security protocols to maintain a secure environment.\nEssential Functions and Duties:\nMonitor and protect hotel assets through regular patrols and security checks. \nCollaborate with department heads to enhance preventative and responsive security measures. \nAssist in executing emergency procedures and ensure guest and associate safety. \nFollow and document proper patrol procedures for property inspections. \nAssist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure secure handling of hotel deliveries. \nMonitor and report violations of cash handling procedures to the General Manager and management. \nInvestigate and document any loss of hotel assets, ensuring compliance with security policies. \nControl access to public, storage, and associate areas, including locker rooms. \nPatrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and inoperative safety equipment. \nMaintain accurate logs of activities and events occurring during the shift. \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\nValid driver’s license. \nCPR certification required. \nPrevious experience in security or related field is preferred. \nAbility to follow established security policies and procedures. \nStrong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management. \nAbility to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations. \nStrong attention to detail in monitoring hotel assets and documenting activities. \nSecurity certification is preferred. \nWork Environment:\nRequires frequent walking, standing, and patrolling both inside and outside the hotel. \nMust be able to lift and carry objects up to 20 lbs regularly. \nFlexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. \nWork occurs in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions. \nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
