As Stonefield is a multi-disciplinary firm, interest in cross-disciplinary work within the field of civil engineering and consulting is encouraged.\nKey Responsibilities\nJob responsibilities will include Locating and driving stakes into the ground, transporting necessary supplies to and stocking the field vehicle, Proper care and maintenance of equipment, Properly and safely using tools such as: hammer, machete, chainsaw, and shovel, Clear survey centerline of obstructions, Paint and mark laths, and properly operating a level rod and Prism Pole.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nThe following minimum requirements are expected of candidates:\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nRequires the ability to bend and stoop repeatedly and to move objects for long distances.\nMust be able to work in the field in a variety of weather conditions, and out of town work possible.\nMust have good handwriting skills for marking stakes.\nProficiency in AutoCAD.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nSelf-motivation.Knowledge of field survey engineering methods and techniques and survey instruments are a plus.\nBenefits\nAt Stonefield, we believe that our people are our greatest asset.
