This product line focuses on ECU, Camera and Monitor development for off-road and heavy vehicle markets.\nPrimary Activities:\nHardware design\nIs responsible for promptly and fully developing hardware for new or amended products\nDesigns PCBs (schematics and layout) using hardware development tools like Altium and Siemens Xpedition.\nAnalyses customer requirements and product definitions, and determines design requirements.\nProduces drawings and diagrams of the designs in various levels of detail and assures that documentation is kept up to date.\n\nOther work\nMonitors activity planning in relation to project schedules.\nMaintenance of required tools and processes\nContributes ideas for new developments, gives suggestions and solutions based on personal expertise, market studies and business needs.\nAligns with production on manufacturability of products\nProvides service to existing products in production or at customers\nContributes and/or initiates DFMEAs\n\nFinds correct materials and components by studying product and market information and making inquiries with suppliers.\nPerforms simulations and desktop testing, i.e. functional tests\nAligns with testing department on verification and validation tests and reviews test set-ups and test results.\nWorks closely with various disciplines as part of a project team to ensure that the design optimally fulfils all requirements.\nAwareness of DFT/DFM, for flawless PCBA mass production at Electronics Manufacturing Services. \nAwareness of Hardware design optimized for EMC/EMI performance\nWorks structurally and documents according the Stoneridge Product Lauch Program (SPLP) process\nEducation and Experience\nHBO/WO level education in electronic or electrical engineering.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience developing hardware in the automotive industry.\nKnowledge:\nFluency in the English language.\nKnowledge of electronics EMC/EMI testing\nKnowledge of 'Advanced Driver Assistant Systems' (ADAS).\nKnowledge of automotive core tools like PPAP, DFMEA, 8D and APQP.\nComprehensive knowledge of software and hardware.\nKnowledge of legislation concerning product safety and the environment.\nMust be up-to-date with developments in the field.\nGood communication skills with colleagues.\nWhat we offer\nSalary based on knowledge and experience.\nFull-time employment of 40 hours
