expectations, and motivate our team.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nEnsure the execution of production programs by coordinating and managing the work team to comply with the established plans.\nPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCoordinate the activities of the staff in charge to achieve goals. \nMentor your team on a daily basis to create an environment of teamwork and problem solving. \nMaintain order and discipline within the area. \nFollow up and supervise proposals made by employees. \nOversee that the payroll report is correct. \nEnsure that the established activities are carried out to achieve the objectives.\nMaintain effective communication between team members\".\nCommunicate with your staff, identify the strengths and weaknesses of your staff in order to establish development plans.\nSolve personnel problems by analyzing data, researching problems and identifying solutions. \nSupervise that the personnel execute the safety guidelines defined in the operating system, to avoid accidents. \nEnsure compliance with established safety standards.\nEnsure the certification of their subordinates in safety standards and equipment training. \nProvide work equipment and tools necessary to perform their duties. \nSupervise the start-up meeting and participate occasionally. \nReview the use of personal protective equipment. \nFollow up with the personnel in charge to comply with the company procedures as well as guide the personnel to conduct themselves in a safe and practical way with the use of safety equipment. \nCheck that cleanliness days are carried out and that their areas are clean.\nAchieve production objectives by executing the operating system to increase the profitability of the area. \nMonitor that operators are assigned machines. \nMonitor material supply and production. \nFollow up on machines in service to ensure that the production plan is met. \nCoordinate the execution of activities to be performed. \nFollow up the production of critical numbers.\nComply with quality guidelines in order to meet customer needs. \nOversee that personnel adhere to process and quality instructions and understand all work instructions \nInitiate corrective actions for internal problems through the company defined process. \nKeep track of quality levels according to targets. \nLead the analysis of customer complaints to ensure resolution. \nValidate that inspections are carried out correctly. \nEDUCATION:\nCompleted engineering degree or equivalent in years of experience\nEXPERIENCE:\n- 2 years of experience in a production supervisor position. \n- 2 years of experience in the automotive industry\nKNOWLEDGE:\nFluent verbal and written English, good oral and written communication skills (preferred)\nIAFT 16949/ISO14001 (ISO/QS 9000)\nAbility to generate procedures and work instructions, knowledge in material control practices, experience in corrective action processes, ability to report production activities.\nKnowledge in Industrial Safety\nLean manufacturing concepts\nStrong problem solving methodologies\nStrong people management skills\nKnowledge of TRESS system (Preferred)\nManufacturing processes \nPPAPS\nControl plan\nLean
