Partners with management, engineering teams, and stakeholders to manage compliance and delivery, resolve escalations, and strengthen customer trust. Drives process improvement initiatives that enhance execution, workflow automation, reporting, forecasting, dashboards, metrics, and risk-informed decision-making. Provides technical direction and mentorship to cross-functional teams.\nPRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:\nTechnical Management and Execution - Functional Safety / Product Cybersecurity Management\nApplies functional safety and product cybersecurity expertise to define scope, identify risks and dependencies, estimate timelines, assess feasibility, determine testing needs, and forecast resources.\nEnsures product and service delivery meets applicable safety, security, compliance, supplier, and accessibility requirements.\nCoordinates rapid response to safety and security escalations, aligning teams and leadership on risk assessment, mitigation, and execution.\nImplements evolving safety and security processes and delivery standards aligned with regulatory requirements and Stoneridge best practices.\nApplies data to improve program execution, security operations, workflow automation, and reporting.\nDefines and develops incident response, vulnerability management, compliance initiatives, and improvements for safety and security compliance.\nProgram Oversight and Risk Management\nManages complex safety and security issues, bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks, escalating when appropriate.\nUses data and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate options, balance business requirements with technical constraints, and support risk-informed mitigation decisions.\nProcess Optimization and Continuous Improvement\nDesigns and implements cross-functional objectives, workflows, and solutions that improve execution, visibility, reporting, and forecasting.\nIntegrates continuous improvement practices across functional safety and product cybersecurity programs to strengthen compliance, reliability, resilience, and operational effectiveness.\nIdentifies and resolves process gaps and defines requirements and configurations for existing and new development tools, where applicable.\nCollaboration, Leadership, and Stakeholder Engagement\nFacilitates collaboration across organizations and technical disciplines to align priorities and support successful execution.\nCommunicates program status, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership.\nBuilds and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align needs, priorities, and commitments.\nWorks cross-functionally to implement solutions and mitigate risks affecting customer satisfaction, delivery, and security outcomes.\nProvides technical direction and mentorship to cross-functional teams.\nInfluences organizational change and adoption of functional safety and product cybersecurity initiatives.\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:\nBachelor of Science in Engineering or Project Management, or MBA, or related work experience.\nMinimum 7 years' work experience as a Program Manager, with know-how and skills from working as a Program Manager with customer relationships in automotive industry.\nDemonstrated technical understanding and capabilities with Functional Safety, Product Cybersecurity, or similar product development within automotive industry.\nSolid understanding of PM discipline and processes with a strong drive and focus on results.\nProven ability to lead and coach and get things done in cross-functional environments.\nTeam player with excellent communication skills.\nKnowledge of automotive functional safety/product cybersecurity and safety such as ISO 21434, R155, R156, ISO 26262, or SOTIF.\nStoneridge is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
