Join the Stoneridge Team as we continue to build upon our strong history and reputation for quality products to deliver innovative products and systems that address a need, exceed our customers’ expectations, and motivate our team.\nObjective of the position\nThe Warranty Engineer is responsible for managing the warranty system for assigned products and sites in a structured, timely, and well-documented manner, ensuring alignment with both internal and external customer expectations. This role contributes to improving product quality and reducing costs by implementing a proactive approach to warranty management and driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nThe Warranty Engineer identifies and escalates issues as appropriate, while ensuring full compliance with quality systems and documentation standards. In addition, the role requires effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, often involving direct engagement with customers.\nCharacterization of activities\nLead cross-functional corrective actions and root cause analysis (8D) to drive continuous improvement and reduce warranty costs.\nReview, validate, and approve warranty reports while ensuring customer charge compliance and managing disputes where needed.\nMonitor and analyze warranty data (claims, trends, health charts) identify risks, escalate issues, and support decision-making.\nManage warranty systems and data, including maintaining databases, retrieving information from customer portals, and ensuring accurate reporting.\nConduct warranty part analysis and deliver customer-ready reports with clear conclusions and recommendations.\nDrive warranty improvement initiatives by collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams, supporting committees, mentoring teams, and capturing lessons learned.\nEducation, Experience and Knowledge\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with solid automotive industry experience, preferably in manufacturing, quality, or product engineering.\nStrong knowledge of quality methodologies and core tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, A3, APQP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, FMEA).\nAdvanced analytical skills, including data handling, visualization, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.\nExperience or exposure to embedded software and hardware is an advantage.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and collaborative skills;
