Work in a welcoming café where every day brings something different.\nWhat You'll Do\nPrepare and cook delicious menu items, following Stonewall Kitchen recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations.\nStep in to cover the cooking line during vacations, call-outs, busy service periods, and other staffing needs.\nPrepare fresh sandwiches, salads, cold sides, dressings, sauces, and other café favorites.\nSlice and prep fresh ingredients, including breads, vegetables, meats, and cheeses.\nKeep the kitchen running smoothly by organizing daily prep lists and ensuring food is ready for service.\nWork alongside a great team to prepare orders accurately and efficiently, even during busy periods.\nMaintain fresh ingredients, rotate inventory, monitor supplies, and help minimize food waste.\nKeep cooking and prep stations clean, organized, and well-stocked.\nFollow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.\nPitch in with other kitchen and café duties as needed.\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\n3-5 years of professional kitchen experience, including hands-on line-cooking experience.\nConfidence and ability to independently manage cooking shifts when needed.\nKnowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, knife skills, and safe food-handling practices.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced kitchen.\nA positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.\nA team player who takes pride in preparing great food and delivering a consistent guest experience.\nFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.\nStonewall Kitchen is an EEO employer.\nStonewall Kitchen participates in E-Verify, the federal program for electronic verification of employment eligibility.\nSalary Description\n$20.00 -
