You'll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting activities while building the knowledge and experience needed to progress towards a professional accountancy qualification.\nWorking closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner - Operations, you'll help provide accurate financial information, support reporting processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems and procedures.\nWhat you'll be doing\nSupporting the production of accurate financial information and transactional processing within finance systems.\n\nAssisting with the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, budgets and statutory accounts.\n\nProducing financial analysis and reporting to support business decision making.\n\nCreating journals, balance sheet reconciliations and system reconciliations.\n\nAnalysing expenditure trends, supplier spend and financial performance.\n\nSupporting internal and external audit activities.\n\nWorking on projects that improve financial processes and systems.\n\nCollaborating with colleagues across Finance and the wider business.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nYou're someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with numbers and is looking to build a long-term career in finance.\nYou'll ideally have:\nA desire to work towards a professional accountancy qualification.\n\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively.\n\nGood attention to detail and an analytical mindset.\n\nStrong Microsoft Office skills.\n\nThe ability to work as part of a team whilst taking ownership of your own development.\n\nFlexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.\n\n5 GCSEs at grades 4-9 (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.\n\nJob Description - Apprentice Accountant\nWhy join us?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining practical experience alongside study towards a recognised Level 3 and Level 4 Accountancy qualification.
