# Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor who enjoys getting into the detail, challenging costs and making sure every pound delivers value? We’re looking for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join our Cost Management Team within Homes Operations. This is an opportunity to play an important role in strengthening commercial and cost control across our property services. Working closely with operational colleagues, Procurement and our external partners, you’ll provide the insight, challenge and expertise needed to ensure expenditure is accurate, contractually compliant and delivers genuine value for money. What you’ll be doing You’ll take commercial and cost management responsibility across a range of contracts and workstreams, with a particular focus on high-volume responsive repairs, empty homes, gas and electrical works. Day to day, you’ll: Review and challenge contractor costs at job and line-item level. Scrutinise Schedule of Rates pricing, variations, applications and supporting evidence.
