Working with experienced Risk colleagues, the successful candidate will help monitor exposures, produce risk reports, and escalate matters where appropriate.\nResponsibilities\nGeneral Duties\nMonitoring the risk of client and firm positions against approved mandates and escalating any breaches where required\nEnsuring timely completion of daily / periodic items\nAssist in the creation and analysis of risk reports and escalating issues to management where required\nMonitor intraday price movements and stay abreast of market developments which could impact the company and / or clients\nSupport the analysis of client requests and assist with approvals in line with delegated authority.\nSupport the preparation and analysis of stress tests, particularly ahead of periods of expected market volatility.\nAssist in maintaining Market Risk procedures and documentation.\nAd hoc duties as required\nQualifications\nQualification and Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant quantitative discipline.\nFluency in business English\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \nInterest in financial markets and risk management \nWillingness to learn and develop technical knowledge with a continuous-improvement mindset\nAbility to interpret data and communicate findings clearly \nExposure to data analysis or automation tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI or advanced Excel would be an advantage\nAbility to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment.\nStrong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail\nAble to work as part of a team and individually, with the ability to be self-motivated especially with the current hybrid working
